Karen Huger has been sentenced to two years behind bars, though one year is suspended. This means the RHOP veteran will serve a year in jail, in addition to paying $2,900 in fines. Post-release, she’ll face a year-long driving suspension, five years of supervised probation, and the requirement to use an interlock device to prevent further DUI incidents.

Ashley Darby shared her reaction during an appearance on The Tamron Hall Show. According to US Weekly, Ashley was visibly emotional as she spoke about Karen’s situation. “I truly urge everyone to keep Karen in your prayers. I care about her deeply,” she expressed. “And I actually found out about this while I was on the train coming here today.” Overcome with emotion, Ashley admitted, “I cried like a baby.”

Gizelle Bryant Expresses Concern for Karen

Karen’s longtime friend and RHOP co-star, Gizelle Bryant, also shared her thoughts on the sentencing. “I am in shock. This news just broke today,” Gizelle revealed. She attempted to inject some humor, saying, “I do not have her wigs, and I am worried.” However, on a serious note, she added, “I’m genuinely concerned for her safety Karen isn’t built for prison. I just pray that she’s OK and that the Lord is watching over her.”

Karen’s legal troubles also led to her absence from the Season 9 RHOP reunion, as she opted to enter rehab instead. While some cast members threw shade at her timing, Wendy Osefo questioned her motives. “It’s interesting that she’s doing this right before sentencing,” Wendy remarked. “Is she seeking help for herself, or is this an attempt to soften the judge’s decision?”

Despite the skepticism, Ashley Darby showed her unwavering support for Karen during the reunion. She even brought a framed photo of Karen dressed in white and placed it on the reunion sofa as a tribute to her embattled friend.
